Pendulum
Pendulum has its premiere last November performed by the Grupo Sax-Ensemble and conducted by Santiago Serrate. It was part of Concierto de Laureados organised by the UNIR and it took place in the Real Academia de San Fernando, Madrid. The entire concert can be listened in here. The piece aims to imitate pop-rock instruments experimenting with extended techniques in classical instruments. It has a simple structure, catchy melodies, and a clear harmony as so a pop song. It is a new attempt to reconcile those worlds of classical and popular music.

Shattered Night
Shattered Night has been recorded by Orquesta Filarmonía de Madrid, conducted by Rafael Albiñana, as part of the MA in Music Composition with New Technologies, UNIR. The piece is the orchestration of the second section of a song originally composed for violin, electric guitar, and voice. The first part is made by pure electronic and the lyrics are inspired by Pablo Neruda's poem, "Puedo escribir los versos más tristes esta noche".
